Kolkata: Govt bus crashes into divider near Park Street, minor injuries reported

Kolkata/IBNS: A few minor injuries were reported after a state-run bus lost its control and crashed into the divider near Park Street in Kolkata on Monday morning.

The bus in the Howrah-Jadavpur route reportedly lost its control over steering wheel due to technical fault and crashed into the divider.

Some of the passengers suffered minor injuries.

They were taken to a hospital for checkup.

No serious injury has been reported. The roads comparatively had a thin crowd being a holiday.

Police personnel from the Shakespeare Sarani Police Station rushed to the spot.

A crane was brought in to remove the bus and clear the road.
